Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery: a gentler option

Glaucoma damages the optic nerve, usually in association with raised pressure inside the eye. Traditional filtering surgery is effective but involves a longer recovery and more follow-up.

What MIGS procedures do

Devices smaller than a grain of rice improve the eye's natural drainage through very small incisions, lowering pressure with less tissue disruption.

Many patients have their glaucoma stent placed during cataract surgery. One operation, one recovery, two problems addressed.

Mild to moderate glaucoma, particularly patients struggling with daily drops. Advanced disease often still needs traditional surgery.
