Will I still need glasses with a toric lens?

A monofocal toric lens usually gives clear distance vision without glasses, with reading glasses for close work. EDOF or trifocal toric lenses reduce the need for reading glasses too.

Rarely. If a lens rotates enough to affect vision it can usually be repositioned in a short procedure.

How toric lens surgery works

The operation is the same as standard cataract or lens replacement surgery. The difference is in planning and alignment: the lens is rotated to a precise angle matched to your eye.

Recovery
